So, as we all know, the last update was a bit of a bust. This being meant in the manner that we, the player community, have not seen any new content since, what, 1.2?
When can we place a date on the calendar and make a firm appointment to go the market and begin familiarizing myself with those very same weapons that I trained on when I was a teenager in the State Protectorate militia??
This is abysmal in my opinion. Hell we are still waiting for the basic play mechanics to be finalized.
But with the dwindling numbers of this community and the blatant perception that this community is being disenfranchised by the developers, new content could be a breath of new life and purpose for a lot of us. It has gotten so bad that I have forsaken my choice of being an Amarrian Assault Logi (just like Templar 13 - Victor  ) and have gone back to my roots - Caldari Assault.
Hell, now, I feel no need to burn through my shinny proto-gear when I can cause as much havoc for a fraction of the cost in my BPO littered suit that only costs me a measly 5.6k ISK per suit. OH I love the 'Raven,' and the 'Exile' AR. It is a winning combo.
But I don't want that Gallente trash anymore, even though it has served me faithfully no for over a year. I would prefer the feel of a Kaalakiota or an Ishukone in my hands as I decimate those that stand before my brothers and I on the battlefield. Hell even the archaic Mk 25 Gauss rifle would be a dream. I would believe that to be a similar feeling held by my Minmatar corp mates and that beast they refer to as being the "battle rifle." Hell I would like to get my hands on one to just take it out for a test drive. Or what about the Caldari Magsec SMG or rail pistol?
But wait, we are left for wanting, much like the complete lack of the total complement of light and heavy dropsuits for all of my mercenary brothers. Hell there are a number of us that seem to be severely lacking in the deployable equipment department, this also being inclusive of deployable structures (what ever happened to this????).
Needless to say the chain of communication has become broken in a multitude of different ways. CCP seems to refuse to communicate with us for the most part, and when they do it is filled with snarky comments that are just vented frustration and reactionary to the voiced frustration of this community. The CPM is completely absent as far as I have noticed over the last 6 months with the only input that I have noticed or seen being those snippy remarks by IWS. Everyone else, MIA!
I know this isn't helped by the tirade of frustration, sarcasm, and trolling that comes from our end, but often one should ask themselves; when a child is neglected they often lash out in what ever manner possible to get the attention that they are taught to expect and have grown to desire, right?? Are we, as a community, any different? Not to say that we are children, but to say that we have grown use to some interaction, but now it seems to be completely missing.
WHAT does the new EP have to say about this? 6 months and nothing new. Can we hope for "something" come the beginning of next month when the 1.6 update should go live??

I do believe that you are right on the time frame for the suits, but as for weapons, we haven't seen anything new since a week after Uprising 1.0 came out and that was out in May. As of tomorrow, that will be 5 months.

If I feel the need to pose the question, I will do that. If you want to jump into this thread and not speculate, then don't respond.
CCP should continue to hear from this community that new content and the completion of the basic complement of gear is necessary before the real process of balancing can begin for either the suits, the weapons or the vehicles.
Plus I am not one who appreciates when some random ******* jumps into MY thread and just pokes their head in to tell me what I can cannot do. As far as I know, you are not in my corp, and I sure as shite don't know you.
So keep it to yourself if it is not constructive or speculative. |

Sooooo sooo much bodily fluids its not even funny.... hey you guys know I'm talking about drool right? Anyway you are right... I was being somewhat conservative, in case I'd forgotten anything.
No, totally. On both ways I get it. Sometimes I forget just how long I have been toiling away at this thing. As for the bodily fluids, hell I might even crap myself IF i saw any of the stuff mentioned here on the market!!!!
